Annie Laurie

Rhythm & blues singer, who first recorded as vocalist with Dallas Bartley And The Band That Comes On in 1946, and in Paul Gayten's orchestra in 1947. During the 1950s she recorded for OKeh, Savoy, and DeLuxe. In the 1960s, she left the scene for the church. She was born August 11th, 1924 in Atlanta, Georgia. She died November 13th, 2006 in Titusville, Florida.
