A.i.d.S.

German rap duo consisting of [a=Sido] and [a=B-Tight]. Formerly known as [a260280], they changed their name after the split with their old label [l37796] in July 2000. Since they didn't think their name to be important, the two decided to simply turn on the TV and pick the first word they heard, which turned out to be "aids". As a nod to their rap crew [a177495] (The Sect), they turned "aids" into the backronym "A.i.d.S." for "Alles ist die Sekte" (All is the sect).
