He worked as a choirmaster at the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella named after M. I. Glinka / The Leningrad Glinka State Academic Choir (1972–1986).
As a conductor, he was invited by E. E. Pasynkov to the [a6506603].

In 1989 he became the conductor of the St. Petersburg Mozarteum chamber orchestra / [a1801989].
At present he is the conductor of the Children's Musical Theater "Through the Looking Glass" and Artistic Director of the Orchestra of the Secondary Special Music School of the St. Petersburg Conservatory (since 2004).
