Cretan lyre player and singer born in Agalianos, Agios Vasileios, Rethymno, Crete in 1930.
Husbant of Χρυσούλα Σηφογιωργάκη

His first recording was "Ο Φάρος" in 1960, he collaborated with Ιωάννης Μαρκογιαννάκης and became well know in Greece and abroad.

He recorded with:
RCA Victor (1960 - 1969),
Olympic (1969 - 1973),
Panivar (1973 - 1983) and
Margophone in 1988 (his last album)
