Zohra

Zohra is a Belgian artist of Moroccan descent, born in Belgium September 8, 1975 and based in Brussels. She's a DJ, dancer, singer, former model and sometime actress. She started out as a professional dancer at nightclubs all over Europe already when she was 16. That led to contacts in the music business, and her musical carreer started in 1996 when she became a member of trio [a=2 Fabiola] with musician [a=Pat Crimson] and dancer Fabio Ponente. They had sveral hits not only in Belgium, but also in Spain, Japan, Russia... In 1999, she left the group after a couple of singles and two albums. She released five solo singles between 1997 and 2000. In October 2001, Zohra formed the project [a=Punk City] together with producer [a=Kris Vanderheyden], but it only resulted in the single [i]The Mission[/i] in 2003. She then concentrated on a career as a TV actress, before returning as a DJ and a DJ instructor for kids..
