    Dutch animation filmmaker, illustrator, graphic designer and children's book writer (b. 14 September 1960, Voorschoten). Wouter van Reek graduated from Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam in 1984 after studying audiovisual media. He made animations for Sesame Street and VPRO's Villa Achterwerk. Reek also has collaborated with various contemporary music ensembles, including Slagwerkgroep Den Haag and Calefax Reed Quintet.
