Wolfgang Dauner and co. in a very different light to the jazz releases they'd done before. "The Oimels" presented them as a psychedelic pop band, featuring songs (cover versions and originals), twisted hybrids of beat and ethno-jazz, chic and groovy instrumentals, etc.
