Formed in 2002 in Sacramento, CA by ex members of local acts like Athena In Hades or Severance. First sounded like an late version of Dark Tranquillity from "The Gallery" era.
Shortly after singing for Earache, they suffered a several line-up split, with Michael Nordeen remaining as the only former member, who recruited the entire section of Conducting From The Grave (including original WP guitarist Jeff Morgan). Also former guitarist Shaun Gier rejoined for a short time on vocal duties, being replaced by Fidel Campos, (Cyanide Era, ex Severance) for their debut full lenght on Earache.
