Formed in 2002 in Sacramento, CA by ex members of local acts like [a=Athena In Hades] or [a=Severance (8)]. First sounded like an late version of Dark Tranquillity from "The Gallery" era. Shortly after singing for Earache, they suffered a several line-up split, with Michael Nordeen remaining as the only former member, who recruited the entire section of [a=Conducting From The Grave] (including original WP guitarist Jeff Morgan). Also former guitarist Shaun Gier rejoined for a short time on vocal duties, being replaced by Fidel Campos, (Cyanide Era, ex [a=Severance (8)]) for their debut full lenght on Earache.
