German a cappella band, founded 1985 in Cologne as a student rockband (Wise Guys Band!). 1990 they called themself "Wise Guys".
The original members were Daniel Dickopf, Edzard Hüneke, Marc Sahr, Clemens Tewinkel and Christoph Tettinger. With the departure of Andrea Figallo (2016) and the wish of Edzard Hüneke to make a solo project (2017), the band broke up.
1995: Christoph Tettinger (bass vocals) left the Wise Guys. The new bass singer became Ferenc Husta.
2009: Clemens Tewinkel left the band, Nils Olfert (tenor vocals) replaced him.
2012: Ferenc Husta left the group, Andrea Figallo became the new bass singer.
2016: Andrea Figallo left the band, Björn Sterzenbach became the new bass singer.
2017: The band dissolved, a new band called Alte Bekannte arised.
