Known as “the Rolls Royce of Calypso,” Winston Soso was born on July 15, 1942 in St. Vincent and passed away on July 18, 2021. He was active as a calypso and soca artist from the 1970s to the late 1990s. In addition to his many albums and singles, Soso was featured as a backing vocalist on dozens of records by other artists.
