Wieland Wagner (5 January 1917 Bayreuth, Germany - 17 October 1966 in Munich, Germany) was German opera director. He was the son of Siegfried Wagner, grandson of Richard Wagner, great-grandson of Franz Liszt, brother of Wolfgang Wagner, Friedelind Wagner and Verena Lafferentz.
