He started to work for ORF in 1982, first for Ö3 Musicbox, which he directed in the late 1980s together with Fritz Ostermayer. When Radio FM4 was formed in 1995, Geier was involved in many decision making about the structure of Austria's alternative radio. As DJ and moderator Demon Flowers, he helped to popularize Hiphop music in Austria as part of Radio FM4's Hiphop show Tribe Vibes and „Rough Mix" from 1995 onwards till his death in 2007.
