Their soaring vocals over a blend of melodic hooks, progressive arrangements and thematic tendencies are similar to that of Pink Floyd, Rush, and Led Zeppelin. The resultant is a unique and eclectic sound that is distinctively Waterfront Fire. This band’s captivating live performance will hypnotize you with their entrancing melodies and theatrics, allowing their audiences to forget their inhibitions and live completely in the moment. The band has recently toured Eastern Canada and Europe; performed with high profile bands like Billy Talent, Blue Rodeo, Alvvays, and Said the Whale; and represented Canada as part of an internationally music fusion program in Trinidad & Tobago where they recorded with the countries top producer. Waterfront Fire’s music has been featured on national and international radio, with CBC radio hosts Rich Terfry and Jeff Liberty each saying on separate occasions that they expect the band will be performing in stadiums. Since 2014 Waterfront Fire has released an EP and two studio albums which has earned the band multiple awards & nominations including Alternative Recording of the Year (MusicNL), Rising Star of the Year (MusicNL/ECMA), Group of the Year (MusicNL), Entertainer of the Year (MusicNL), and Music Video of the Year (MusicNL).
