Václav Neumann

Czech conductor, violinist and violist. Born October 29, 1920 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia), died September 2, 1995 in Vienna, Austria. Co-founder and 1st violin (1945–1947) of the Smetana Quartet, principal conductor of The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra 1968–1990.
