(b. Nov. 13, 1902, New York, NY; d. Nov. 18 1970, New York, NY), trombonist. Recorded with Bailey's Lucky Seven in 1922, played in The Original Memphis Five and with Nadine Jurius in 1925. Joined Paul Whiteman And His Orchestra in August 1926 and stayed until July 1927, when he was replaced by Tommy Dorsey. Returned to the Whiteman organization 1933-34. After this, he became a business agent for AFM Local 802.
