Verica Ristevska

Verica Ristevska is a prominent Macedonian singer. She had her first stage appearance at Opatija 1973, a festival where she had many appearances until 1984, and where she perfomed her biggest success "Letaj, galebe". She was also a member of the popular vocal group "Makedonija" (1975-1980) with whom she released four albums. She is married to the actor Ljupčo Angelov with whom she lived in Denmark a certain period. She also started singing new Macedonian folk songs in the late 1980s participating also at Valandovo Folk Fest. Her last pop festival appearance in that period was Makfest 1987.
