Swedish pop band from Östersund with Martin Abrahamsson as front man. They broke through in the spring / summer of 2005 with the song "Kalla mig" which, among other things, was played extensively on Swedish Radio P3. The song was on the EP Give them violence. In 2006 came the debut album I know how to wait, whose single Thoméegränd was played a lot on the radio. On April 11, 2007, Something Bad New has been released, which is a kind of mini-album consisting of seven songs. Jens Lekman, among others, is taking part in this. In April 2008, Vapnet released the album Döda Fallet. It is the first album with mainly acoustic instruments and without a drum machine. The single Suddenly It Does Not Happen which was released in February of the same year is on this album. In connection with the album, a tour of Sweden followed, this time with an acoustic band. Martin Abrahamsson and the singer Martin Hanberg are also members of the pop band Sibiria, in 2009 they start together with the Sibiria member Erik Laquist a new band called Kommun. Per-Olof Stjärnered and Jesper Hedin have in turn gone on to form the band Autisterna.
