Founder and owner of the The Le Fevre Trio (later The LeFevres), Urias LeFevre was a force in Southern Gospel music for over 50 years. The LeFevres had their own record label, Sing (2), and had one of the first 24-track recording studios. Urias was associated with the Sing Recording Company, Inc.. Inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame (1986) and to the Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame (1997).
