In addition to bass, Ivarsson also plays drums, guitar and synthesizer. With his own project "Beatundercontrol" he released the debut album The Introduction on his own label undefined in 2003. In 2018, Ivarsson was twice nominated for a Grammy in the category Best Rock of the Year.
