TV Buddhas are Mickey Triest and Juval Haring, playing drums and electric guitar/vocals. Their dance influenced mix of Velvet Underground and Black Sabbath has earned them praise all over Europe in 2008, a year in which they played over 170 shows across the continent. TV Buddhas use slim repetative stringy lines amplified through a bass and guitar amp, deep bluesy vocals and a minimalistic drum set consisting of a floor tom, a snare and a cymbal. They play directly in your face on the floor, drenched in sweat and emotion. Hailing from Holon, Israel, they represent the upcoming indie scene from their country.
