About

Danish synth pop/electro rock band founded in 2006 by Martin Øhlers Petersen (drums), Morten Køie (bass) and Silas Bjerregaard (vocals, synthesizer). Having played with the band since 2009, in 2011 Anders Stig Møller (keyboards) became an official member of the band. Released their debut album "Night Shift" in 2007. Recorded material for a fifth studio album in 2017, but in February 2018 the band announced that the upcoming tour would instead be a farewell tour, and the unreleased album was scrapped. Turboweekend played their last concert in August 2018. In August 2024, Turboweekend announced their reunion with an upcoming 2025 tour and new music. It was also announced that Anders Stig Møller had left the band leading up to the return.
