German black/death metal project focusing on themes of war, death and genocide. Truppensturm is not a political act. Founded in 1997 as [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/3823813-Sturmtruppen-3]Sturmtruppen[/url], two demo cassettes were released under that name.The name was changed before releasing the 2006 EP to avoid confusion with the Nazi bands of the same name.
