The project initially consisted of renowned electronic music artists, ATB, Schiller, Talla 2XLC, Taucher, Sunbeam and DJ Mellow-D. The Trance Allstars project was active from 1999 through 2002, in which the group released two CD compilation albums 'Worldwide' and 'Synergy II', as well as a number of successful cover version singles 'The First Rebirth', 'Ready To Flow', and 'Lost in Love'.

January 2024 Talla 2XLC announced the return of Trance Allstars via his official Instagram account. This with a minor change to the lineup of artists, as ATB is replaced by York. As of 2024 Trance Allstars consist of Schiller, Talla 2XLC, York, Taucher, Sunbeam and DJ Mellow-D (aka. Mellow Trax).
