Tom McGrath (23 October 1940 – 29 April 2009) was a Scottish playwright, poet and jazz pianist. Born in Rutherglen, Glasgow. Founding editor of the International Times. Musical director on The Great Northern Welly-Boot Show with Billy Connolly. From 1974-77 he was director of the Third Eye Centre in Glasgow. Plays include "Laurel & Hardy", "Animal", "The Innocent" and "The Hard Man".
