Swedish pop group (originally Maniacs) active from 1965–1968. They are best known for their singer Tommy Körberg and for the hit song "Somebody's Taken Maria Away", produced by Anders "Henkan" Henriksson. The group was originally called Örjans and consisted of brothers Örjan Englund and Lasse Englund (guitars) as well as Leif Gyllander (bass) and Bo Gyllander (drums). Tommy Körberg started singing in the band in the winter of 1965-1966; the band changed their name to Maniacs. In 1966, Maniacs came in second place in Swedish Radio's pop band competition. Under the name Maniacs, they released three singles
