Tipping Canoe was a three-piece emo-hardcore band from Amherst, Massachusetts. They were active from 1997 to early 2000, releasing a five-song demo tape, a split 7" with The Snacks, and a split LP with Ettil Vrye, as well as a posthumous full-length album including some songs from the demo tape and split 7", live songs, and unreleased material.


Members:

Nathan Wicka - Drums, vocals
Nathan Langley - Guitar, vocals
Mark Hixon - Bass, vocals

The band also had a satirical side-project called "The Fabulous Five and the Dickhead Six".
