    Уральский Академический Филармонический Оркестр (УАФО) = Ural Philharmonic Orchestra (UPO), based in Ekaterinburg (formerly Sverdlovsk), Russia, was founded in 1936 as the Orchestra of Sverdlovsk Radio. It is one of the oldest orchestras in Russia and is considered one of the leading orchestras in the country.
