The Stunned Guys

The Stunned Guys were an Italian duo of DJs and hardcore producers, consisting of Maxx and Giangy, active since 1993. They began their career producing hardcore music in a basement, driven by the desire to create a unique sound that was missing from the Italian scene at the time. In 1996, they founded Traxtorm Records, the first Italian label dedicated to hardcore music, significantly contributing to the genre's growth both in Italy and internationally. One of their most famous tracks is "Thrillseeka", a collaboration with DJ Paul Elstak released in 1999. In 2000, they collaborated again with DJ Paul and MC Ruffian on the track "Hardcore Takin' Over." Their influence has been pivotal for the Italian hardcore scene, both through their music and by promoting the genre within the country. Notes: On April 8th, 2009 it was announced that Gianluca Rossi aka [a=DJ Giangy] has left the group. On June 18th, 2019 Massimiliano Monopoli announced to retire from the stage after 26 years.
