The Stick Figures

About

Tampa, Florida. Formed at the University of South Florida around 1979 after the dissolution of a previous band, The Art Holes. Initially known as The Jetsons, The Stick Figures consisted of Bill Carey and two sets of siblings, David and Rachel (now "Maready Evergreen") Bowman & Robert and Sid Dansby. The band broke up in 1981 not long after relocating to New York City and having only released a four-song EP. A reissue project with Floating Mill Records will showcase some of The Stick Figures' previously unreleased recordings in addition to the EP.
