Jamaican / British vocal group formed by Edric Connor and Vernon Nesbeth in 1950. The group had several name changes, including The Caribbeans, South Londoners and Southerners, before settled as The Southlanders. Members also included Frank Mannah, and brothers Harold (Harry) and Allan Wilmot (died in October 2021, at the age of 96).
