The Seeds

1960s American psychedelic garage rock band from Los Angeles, California (USA), fronted by Sky Saxon. The original, classic line-up was active from 1965 to 1969, but Saxon continued to use the name at least through 1972, using a varying set of backup musicians. He reformed the original Seeds in 1989. After a second hiatus, the band was reformed in 2003. In 2017, founding member Daryl Hooper started a "reunited version" of the band which still tours. But after the death of Saxon in 2009 and of orginal members Andridge in 2011 and Savage in 2020, things are not quite the same.
