Indie rock band from Berkeley, CA, formed in 1992. The group was initially made up of what was then the staff of Lookout Records, Lawrence Livermore (guitar and vocals), Patrick Hynes (bass) and Christopher Appelgren (drums). The band released 2 LPs and several EPs. Appelgren departed after the first LP, after which Hynes moved to guitar and the band cycled through several rhythm sections.
