The Persians

1960/70's soul/funk band from Baltimore, MD, with the following members: James Gill (first tenor), Leroy Priester (baritone), Freddie Lewis (bass), James Harlee (baritone), Jim Brown (second tenor), replaced by Louis Crawley in 1971. The group appear to have been formed in 1968, disbanded in 1972 and recorded for ABC, GWP and Capitol records.
