irish folk Group. personnel: Tom Madden Joe Palmer Jim Younger the Group mostly covered traditional songs like their album's title cut, utilising acoustic instrments like the dulcimer, banjo, tin whistle, guitar and concertina. When the band split in December 1972, Younger (who had earlier been in The Tinkers) went on to The John Baldry Band. Palmer and Madden joined Thady Quill. Palmer reformed The Peelers in 1984 and the new line-up released an album called "Dodger" on etude.
