    The Passion Of A Primitif

Group formed by the remaining founders of 80s Belgian group The Primitifs. Like their predecessor, The Passion Of A Primitif reached the final of Humo's Rock Rally in 1986. Coming second, they used their prize to recorded an album produced by Jo Casters. The line-up on the album was Herman Gillis (guitar, keyboards and programming), Koen Delbeke (vocals, guitar), Stephan Vanderijcken (bass), Mark Dirickx (drums). The record was recorded at Top Ghent '87, mixed by Peter Gillis. The band came to an end when Jo Casters asked Herman Gillis to join Poésie Noire as guitarist. Koen Delbeke and Stephan Vanderijcken went on to form Cosey Mo, while Mark Dirickx later played with Herman Gillis in Running Cow.
