The Orioles were formed in 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. Sonny Til (lead vocalist) Alexander Sharp (tenor vocalist) George Nelson (baritone vocalist) Johnny Reed (bassist & bass vocalist) Tommy Gaither (second tenor vocalist & guitar) Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 (Early Influence).
