The group was previous known as "Hot Ice." but a different "Hot Ice"/ "The Formations" that were Hot Ice on Heavy Duty in 1972 & Atlantic in 1974. It is possible the group may have been connected to at least 125th Street Candy Store on Uptite and Fania, Russell Mabery's name is all over those records.
