The Long Winters

The Long Winters are an American indie rock band based in Seattle, Washington.

Started in 2001 by John Roderick and Sean Nelson, picked up Eric Corson and Mike Shilliing after the recording of the first album, and Chris Canigula for their live performances. Chris Walla was featured as producer and engineer for the first album, as well as played miscellaneous instruments. The Long Winters' and Ken Stringfellow helped each other out on their tours, Darren Loucas played guitar in Spring 2004, Michael Schorr played drums in Spring 2004, and Darius Minwalla played drums in the Summer 2004, but all left after the conclusion of live performances based on the second album.

The current band is composed of original founder John Roderick, original bass-playing member Eric Corson, and two new members Mike Squires and Nabil Ayers.
