The original founding members were William Stone, Jennifer Cummings, and Scott Wright, back in 1999. They recorded the "Theme From The Man From U.N.C.L.E." in 2000. This original recording appears on the new CD "secret society of surf guitar." Jennifer left the Southern Oregon based group in 2001, to pursue a Ph.D at Texas A&M University. Scott left in 2001 to form The Dingletones. In 2003, guitarist William Stone and drummer Brad Ttrudeau joined forces while playing together in a country band. This became the genesis for the current Illuminoinds, which also features multi-instrumentalists Jim Abdo and Ben McReynolds.
