Formed by members of The Herbaliser to extended their output to include an 8 piece live band, they debuted in June 1996 at George IV in Brixton. The Herbaliser Band continued on, touring internationally for the next 2 decades or so.
After a hiatus, they reformed in 2024 and began touring again with Jake Wherry no longer appearing.
