About

US funk band active in the early 70’s. An army band stationed in 1970 at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. After approaching producer Kenny Smith, they recorded two tracks in one afternoon featuring on vocals Lou Pride, a fellow soldier from Chicago, IL. The single was issued in the same year practically without distribution. Lou Pride eventually left Texas and headed for Hi Records in Memphis, TN. He then returned to his native Chicago where he played until his death in 2012.
