The Greenbriar Boys was an American northern bluegrass music group, formed in 1958 around jam sessions in New York's Washington Square Park. It was disbanded in 1970.


Founding members
John Herald — guitar, vocals
Bob Yellin — banjo
Eric Weissberg — fiddle, mandolin, banjo

Weissberg was briefly replaced by Paul Prestopino before Rinzler joined
