Czech alternative band started in 1990 as a shoegaze band (under the infuence of the bands like My Bloody Valentine...), 2nd album (Free-D) is more ambient music oriented toward to ambient music, then the broke-up of the band in 1994. In 1997 Jan Muchow revives EOST as an electronic band, the second main member became Kateřina Winterová. They released 3 albums with this main line-up, active in concerts until 2007. Until 2016 sporadicly active (in 2010 7 gigs, in 2016 only 1 gig) between in 2016 - 2024 on hiatus. In the spring of 2024 Jan P. Muchow and Kateřina Winterová with other guests musicians revive the band again.
