American garage rock band from Seattle, Washington, originally formed in 1998 as the Reckless Bastards, with singer and guitarist August Henrich, guitarist Zak Schneider, bassist Joe Kilbourne, and drummer Alan Wright. Changed their name to the Earaches in 2003 with debut full length release Fist Fights, Hot Love. in 2004 Alan Wright, who was also the band's manager, committed suicide. Steve Jones took over the drum role. Joe Kilbourne left the band in 2006 and was replaced by Oni Timm on bass.
