The Desires

US vocal group. 1958, in the Bronx, NY, Guy Villari, Sal Cuomo, Chuck Fassert and Ernie Maresca started as "The Monterays". Signed on [l=Seville Records], they changed their name to "The Desires" and recorded the sides "I Ask You" / "Story Of Love" but the label didn't issue them until 1962. After Ernie Maresca left, they changed their name again for [a=The Regents (2)].
