The Atom Age

The Atom Age is a rock band from Oakland, California, formed in 2009 and taking inspiration from punk rock, rock & roll, and 1960s garage and surf rock. The initial lineup of singer/guitarist Ryan Perras, singer/guitarist Peter Niven, bassist Matt Diamant, saxophonist Brendan Frye, and drummer John Murgueitio released their debut album, Kill Surf City, in 2010 on Solidarity Recordings before signing to Asian Man Records for 2011's The Hottest Thing That's Cool. By 2015's Hot Shame, also on Asian Man, organist Fred Brott had joined and Diamant had been replaced by Kevin Mohn. Murgueitio subsequently left and was replaced by new drummer "Fat Tim" Harman (ex-[a=Detonate (5)]). The band started their own imprint, Tiger Dream Records, to release 2019's Cry 'Til You Die.
