Drone metal/shoegaze band from Macon, Georgia, United States. Formed in 1999, split in 2007.
Formed in Macon, Georgia, United States in 1999 originally as a solo project of K.Angylus. M.Dragynfly joined in 2005. The Angelic Process produced music over an eight year period and they are considered as one of the pioneers and figureheads of the extreme music style called ambient drone metal.
On Sept. 15. 2007 The Angelic Process was forced to put the band on hold indefinitely due to an severe hand injury of Kris Angylus. Half a year later, on the 26th of April 2008, he fell victim to clinical depression and took his own life.

Kris Angylus (Kristopher Fairchild) – lead vocals, guitar, drums, keyboards (1999–2007) (died 2008)
Monica Dragynfly (Monica Henson) – bass, backing vocals, keyboards (2005–2007) (died 2023)
