Romanian record producer, rapper, record executive, and music manager, born 17 October 1976 in Sebeş, Alba, Romania, mostly known as one of the founders of the Romanian hip hop trio B.U.G. Mafia.
Following a discouraging attempt at local fame as a solo hip hop artist, Tataee founded B.U.G. Mafia in late 1993 with Dragoș "Caddilac" Vlad-Neagu and two other friends who quickly became disassociated with the group, finally managing to immerse in the local hip-hop scene the following year.
He started his own record label, undefined, in 2002 and in 2003 he decided to focus on producing for other artists. As a producer, Tataee has managed to blend funk, jazz, and later rock and roll and balkan music to the gangsta rap sound and has been credited as one of the pioneers of Romanian gangsta rap.
As a producer and executive producer, he has worked with various Romanian hip hop artists such as Grasu XXL, [a=Bitza], Maximilian La Familia, XXL & 10 Grei and JerryCo.
