Stone Coal White

1970s psychedelic funk group from Dayton, Ohio. Core of the band was Melvin Payne, Tommy Munday, Dennis Munday, and Joe Roddrick (aka [a=Joey Lobo]). The outfit often featured vocals by King Solomon Prather (from [a1192739]), Robert "Dapp" Brown, and an unknown singer named Cookieman. Due to the act's risque live show, they were sometimes billed as Stone Coal White Rated X.
