Before Jack Dishel began performing as Only Son, he released two albums under the band name Stipplicon: "Stipplicon" (1999) and "The Late Great Truth" (2001). Songs from both Stipplicon albums would later be re-recorded for Only Son releases- these include "True", "Sleepyface, "Falling Behind In The Game" and "Stamp Your Name On It", which was featured on Rough Trade's Antifolk Vol. 1 compilation.
